This week Vince and Tony start off a show of comic talk by ranting a little bit about movie releases and then onto character 'ownership', before Dan joins in to make it a ménage à trois of comic creative talk and laughter. Theres some discussion about the creative process when it came to the second issue of Awesome Comics as well as a bit of talk about storytelling before the usual great book recommendations and sign off hilarity. Plus Dans dog gets in on the action and Vince sounds progressively sicker as the episode goes on - so what's not to love?

As the ACP has made it to episode 150, the gang decided to throw the floor over to the listeners for their questions. The response was a lot more than anyone expected, so the show became an epic Q and A session! Expect plenty of answers, headscratching, comics, cakes, crap jokes, hilarity and maybe even a little insight as the gang answer away. This week Mike Stock (Samurai Slasher, Afterlife Inc) and his endless line of credits joins the ACP gang to talk about the invisible art of comics - lettering! From the good, the bad and the ugly, the gang talk about the do's and don'ts of lettering a comic book, give out plenty of handy tips for those starting out and also get reeeeally techy at points. Not only that but the gang talk about some brilliant comic books to check out, discuss the local London Comic Mart and do a lot of laughing, which can only mean the return of some after-credits out takes!

Theres talk about organisation, contracts, good working practises and how to go about making a good kickstarter video. This week the ACP gang are joined by the editor of some of the classic weekly comics that appeared on newstands, Mr Barrie Tomlinson! Together they discuss his time in the editorial chair at titles like Tiger, Eagle and Scream; working with fantastic artists from around the globe, some of the celebrity comic fans he met and also how Roy of the Rovers blurred the lines between fiction and real life in the media. Theres also some great comic recommendations, a little talk about a small movie that was just released and also everyone fights being exhausted.

After a week away at a convention, the gang are back to the norm and ready to talk comics. Not only that, but this week they're joined by Dave Cook, creator of Vessels and the book everyone is talking about, Killtopia! They talk about the creation of that book, its wildly successful kickstarter, world building, BHP comics and the future for the title. It's something a bit different this week as the ACP gang decided to do a whole show from the shop floor of Leamington Comic Con 2018! Theres interviews with exhibitors, visitors and other convention organisers, tons of humour from the 3 excited hosts and more. Plus theres audio from not one but two panels that took place on the day. Theres a fantastic one on one with John Wagner (Judge Dredd, Rok of the Reds) and even the live and completely unprepared Awesome Comics Podcast panel, where theres a discussion about indie comics with Jay Gunn (Surface Tension).

Despite a technical hiccup that left the gang one guest down, the ACP crew still took it to comic talk town, and this time with Dan Mallier, the man behind the great indie comics show Leamington Comic Con! Together not only do they discuss the upcoming LCC 2018, but also digital comics, where the man without fear came from, the contraversial world of reboots, John Wagners Rok of the Reds and tons more!
