This week the ACP gang are joined by the editor of some of the classic weekly comics that appeared on newstands, Mr Barrie Tomlinson! Together they discuss his time in the editorial chair at titles like Tiger, Eagle and Scream; working with fantastic artists from around the globe, some of the celebrity comic fans he met and also how Roy of the Rovers blurred the lines between fiction and real life in the media. Theres also some great comic recommendations, a little talk about a small movie that was just released and also everyone fights being exhausted.

After a week away at a convention, the gang are back to the norm and ready to talk comics. Not only that, but this week they're joined by Dave Cook, creator of Vessels and the book everyone is talking about, Killtopia! They talk about the creation of that book, its wildly successful kickstarter, world building, BHP comics and the future for the title. It's something a bit different this week as the ACP gang decided to do a whole show from the shop floor of Leamington Comic Con 2018! Theres interviews with exhibitors, visitors and other convention organisers, tons of humour from the 3 excited hosts and more. Plus theres audio from not one but two panels that took place on the day. Theres a fantastic one on one with John Wagner (Judge Dredd, Rok of the Reds) and even the live and completely unprepared Awesome Comics Podcast panel, where theres a discussion about indie comics with Jay Gunn (Surface Tension).

Despite a technical hiccup that left the gang one guest down, the ACP crew still took it to comic talk town, and this time with Dan Mallier, the man behind the great indie comics show Leamington Comic Con! Together not only do they discuss the upcoming LCC 2018, but also digital comics, where the man without fear came from, the contraversial world of reboots, John Wagners Rok of the Reds and tons more! Not only that, but Tony also has an interview with the creator of Digitopia, Farhan Kareshi. Its a couple of hours of comics talk and fun so dont miss it!

Ryan K Lindsay (Beautiful Canvas) and Dee Cunniffe (Redneck) talk about the collaboration process, working with Erik Zawadski (The Dregs) and the long journey to publication that the book took.
